In a quest to find something he will be interested in for more than five seconds, I dragged out the LeapFrog Fridge Phonics set that had been Matthew's. That worked for about 10 minutes. (Please overlook the mess on the counters...it's getting cleaned up today, or I'm gonna go crazy!)

After losing interest in the Fridge Phonics, he was back to his old tricks. This child gets into the movie cabinet every chance h
e gets. We've disciplined him for it, but apparently the temptation is just too great. Now the issue is not so much him taking the videos out of the cabinet, it's that he also opens the cases and takes the discs out, and takes the covers out and tears them! But now, not only can he open the cabinet and get a video, he can also turn on the DVD player and put the disc in! He's not even two, and he's already operating the electronics! Let me show you....
Hmm...let me see what I want to watch this morning.
"I Love Toy Trains" looks rather interesting.

Cute! Luke looks a lot like Matthew in these pictures...more than usual. Anyway, HE WILL WATCH A DVD???? Sipsey will have nothing to do with the tv. Only America's Funniest Home Videos will hold her attention and only for about 30 seconds at a time and only while she's doing something else.
So so cute! Our 2-year-old does the same thing dragging out the DVD's! She has gotten in so much trouble, but that has yet to stop her. And she doesn't even like TV! We finally found a video that she will watch. One of Anna Clare's old Cedarmont Kids DVD! Up until that, she watched NO TV. Not that I think TV is great, but one 30 minute video every now and then would be great for me. I need to do a post on that. Anyway, Luke is adorable! And thanks for your sweet comments!
Oh, how cute! Nothing will stop a boy who is determined! Don't let him get near a computer!!!:)
How cute! Enjoy these years of being into everything...the day will come when he wants to stay in his room w/ the door closed, loud music blaring (thank Goodness it's Casting Crowns!) and you'll have no clue what they are up to! (can you tell how the weekend is at my house!)
