I don't know where the last four or five weeks have gone. Finishing up school (which is STILL not over, by the way) has seriously limited my blog time, both for my own blog and for reading and commenting on others! So for the grand total of four of you who read this, I apologize! I still need to blog about Matthew's birthday party, and that was in mid-May!
School was over for the students on Thursday. I'll be there until Tuesday. I've been on a cleaning and purging binge, filling one of those huge garbage cans with papers, junk, etc. I am finished with everything in my classroom, just waiting on report cards to be printed so that we can get them ready for mailing, put copies in the permanent records, etc. I'm really, really hoping that can all be finished Monday, and if so, I'm taking off Tuesday!
In addition to all this, I'm just crazy enough to be doing Vacation Bible School starting tomorrow night. I'm the co-director, so I have been up to my ears in Oriental Trading and Lifeway orders, decorations, you name it! In fact, I'm heading up to the church in a little while to finish up the final details. Pray for a good week....strength for the workers and open hearts for our little students! Luke goes to VBS for the first time this year, and he's beyond excited!

I cannot BELIEVE you are still in school! Bless your heart! Don't feel bad about being behind. I am so far behind and haven't posted Owen's party either (May) nor our Disney Cruise (which was spring break of '10!) And I don't have school for an excuse...just behind! Have fun with VBS! We finished up yesterday. We did Big Apple Adventure...wondering if y'all are doing that too?! Have a great weekend!
Looks like we're in the SAME boat this week. I have to work until Wednesday and then we're done---still don't know where I'm going to be next year. Our principal was supposed to tell us on Friday but decided at the last minute to tell us Monday...ugh! We too have Bible School next week but I'm only helping with the crafts, so I'm hoping not to be too stressed out! Here's to a great final week before we can kick up our feet and catch up on blogging!
Woot Woot!! Fun, fun! Praying for your VBS to be just as successful as ours! - and yes Kristen, they are doing Big Apple Adventure too! I know b/c we've talked about it nonstop for the last week or so, ha ha! My church just wrapped up VBs, and we did Big Apple, so we had lots of ideas to share!
